We occupy one of the top places in the global competition amongst system suppliers for the international automotive industry. For a period of three to six months our department in Stuttgart-Wangen is looking immediately for two students (m/f)
Responsibilities:
You will identify and test alternative resin commodities (e.g. ABS) and/or grades (e.g. Lustran H701) and will be responsible for all tasks that are required (a.) to successfully set up a resin database and (b.) to conceptualize, run, and document the required products testing. The testing phase will be performed in close collaboration with an external institute but globally coordinated across Visiocorp’s engineering centers. The overall objective is to maximize the resin grade flexibility within new product development. Specifically, the main tasks consist of:performing a market/internet research to identify and prioritize resin commodities and grades for test purposes, creating a database containing all detailed resin specifications, defining testing procedures in close cooperation with global engineering and external testing partners, executing and documenting testing for pilot resin types
Requirements:
You are a master student in material engineer, plastic process engineer, chemical engineer or chemistry study with specialization in technical polymer chemistry from a University or University of applied sciences (“Fachhochschule‿). A fluent verbal and written command of English and German, strong knowledge of computer skills including MS Excel and database know-how (e.g. Microsoft Access, SQL) and the willingness to travel (Mosonszolnok/ Hungary) are indispensable due to the international environment
