In order to be able to secure and expand our position in the future, we are dependent on innovative software for our products.
Responsibilities:
You will provide support for our customers at the technical level during the development phase. For this purpose, you will work out system and test concepts in close consultation with our contractors, establish test procedures and plans according to our customers' design specifications and actively promote the development of innovative new vehicle interfaces and test concepts for environment sensor systems.
In addition, your spectrum of duties will include layout, development and construction of electronic switches, as well as installing them in prototype vehicles, bus connection of applications and test systems with the aid of various tools (Vector, IXXAT, IHR, Volcano), as well as determining and programming software and hardware for vehicle-related and laboratory-related function and endurance trials. However, your sphere of responsibility will also include conducting function and endurance trials, documentation of prototype superstructures and test results, compiling presentations with development concepts and test results and presenting them to customers, planning and carrying out prototype and show vehicle projects in cooperation with customers, as well as project planning (MS Project) and coordination of internal interfaces with suppliers and external service providers.
Requirements:
You should be an engineer or technician specializing in the fields of electrical engineering, electronics or metrology. You should have relevant experience in planning and conducting tests, as well as in sensor systems engineering, well-founded knowledge of conducting tests, technical documentation, analogue and HF technology and should be particularly familiar with motor vehicle electronics, DSP and microcontrollers. You should have a good basic command of written and spoken technical and business English.
