Hardware Development Engineer (m/f)
Your scope of duties will include:
You will mainly work on developing electronic systems from the advance development stage up to series production. To do so, you will draw up design specifications and requirements specifications, and document the projects. However, your work will also encompass feasibility studies in the areas of automotive electronics, vehicle bus systems and sensor systems, as well as advance development projects in the area of new technologies. In addition, you will draft prototype circuits for automotive electronics, conduct and evaluate driving tests and take care of customers at the technical level during the development phase.
This is what you will need:
A degree in electrical engineering, electronics, sensor systems engineering or a similar major, as well as knowledge of microcontroller programming and various µC architectures (8/16 bit), optoelectronics and mechatronics. In addition, you should have experience in circuit design and layout, and in setting up prototype electronic systems, especially vehicle electronics, and in programming (Assembler, C/C++). You must be fluent in technical English as well as have a good command of written and spoken negotiating skills.
